Margaret was born in 1894 in Llangedwyn, she married in 1920 and lived at Ael-Y-Bry Llansillin, Oswestry.
War Years
Margaret joined the Red Cross as a VAD Nurse in 1915 and worked at Ardmillan House; she was later transferred to the Cottage Hospital in 1916 and promoted to Staff Nurse. On 9 September 1919 she was presented with the Association Royal Red Cross by King George V at Buckingham Palace.
