Georgina was born 1/4/1895 in Bootle. She was living at The Boar’s Head at the beginning of the First World War with her father, George Henry (1868), her mother Mary Pauline (1870) and her two brothers George Henry (1904) and Frederick (1907). The family also lived with three servants; cook Sarah Evans (1886), general servant Sarah Woods (1869) and barmaid Jeannie Morris (1889).

War Years
Georgina joined the Shropshire 38 VAD as a nurse on 6/4/18. She worked at Leicester War Hospital 6/4/18 – 6/11/18, before working at Park Hall Military Hospital, Oswestry 27/11/1918 – 5/2/1919. She then moved on to work at Vincent Square Hospital 5/2/19 – 13/3/1919.
Post War
Georgina married George E James in 1925, and by 1939 Georgina had returned to Liverpool. George was working as a general labourer and Georgina was a housewife.
Georgina died in March 1985.
