Frances Helena Bradbury was born in Barnsley on the 2nd of October 1872. She was the daughter of James, born 1844, and Emily, born 1839, and was their only child. At the age of 9 she moved with her parents to Aberystwyth.
In 1901, 20 years later, she would go on to work as a housekeeper at the Royal Alexandra Children’s hospital and Convalescent Home in Rhyl, North Wales.
The 1911 census showed her to be working at Oswestry Cottage Hospital, where we know she was employed from 1904 to 1916.
In the same year she returned to Rhyl, to The Alexandra Hospital, presumably to her previous position.
Frances, in 1921 was living South East in Longton, Staffordshire and was officially on the Nursing register.
Aged 65, she moved to Lancing, Sussex where she later died in 1946.
She left her estate of £500 12s 7d to Violet Mary Tucker and Winifred Janie Langrish Clarke.
